Who we are:

The Kadmon Group is a spiritual organization that believes in the infinite potential of the human spirit. We believe in the concept of messiah, but not as a single individual from the past or the future. We believe that messiah is a collective movement that enacts what the Kabbalists call Tikkun Olam, or Repairing the World and that we should do our best with the resources at hand to achieve that goal. We do not endorse or require any specific religious orientation. We collect no dues, and seek power solely in regard to our goal. We want to provide skills to people of all races, nations, and creeds that will help them heal themselves, so that they can in turn heal others. Knowledge is the power that we require to begin our journey to health - knowledge of our current state: We are imprisoned in our conceptions of reality and our addiction to suffering. We have forgotten our birthright, the ability to dream and speak new worlds into existence. Far have we fallen, and it will be no easy journey to cure what has become diseased, but we must heal ourselves or die trying. Let us begin the journey back to wholeness. Back to the primordial dreams of joy, peace, and power that we have forgotten.

Also, you can find our blog here and Aikeena's Shrine here.

What's different about this Group?

What separates us from other groups with similar goals? We like to set manageable goals. These are not necessarily easy goals to achieve, but we do want to see real results. We also separate project goals from personal goals. Personal goals are necessary to continue each person's individual spiritual journey (see Oudeis). Project goals are necessary to keep people from being exclusively focused on self and to make it clear that we view self-improvement for its own sake as meaningless (see Suneleusis).

We have several models that are unique to our group. Part of this is due to the nature of creating an egregore which can be an intensely personal project. Because of this our models are sometimes based on our own idiosyncratic symbols and are not necessarily used in the manner that other systems use them. Even so, we do attempt to adhere to widely-used definitions wherever possible. Our unique models are:

  1. The Partzufim
  2. The Hyperbolic Tree
  3. The Phasma
  4. The Kaerlux Language
  5. The Miodendre Project
  6. Our Ceremonies
  7. Our Rites

We use both ceremony and ritual in our group. Our ceremonies are written in a Hermetic style, while ritual is much simpler with a great emphasis on practicality and ease of acquisition for all props. We also encourage a system of deprecation for all ritual and praxis that allows our tradition to grow as its members do, while still maintaining its core values.

Our group also has different roles for members. Any group working toward a goal using the Kadmon practices is called a Net. A member of such a group is called a Speira. A person using the Kadmon practices alone is called an Oudeis. It has been suggested that each Speira may represent certain Partzufim within their Net's setting, but this has not been tested.

Our primary project at this time is Project Miodendre and it is the focus of much of our research at the moment.

This is our call to action

We have a choice and a chance to change our world for the better. We must be the change we wish to see, so let us begin the process of repairing our world and ourselves.

  1. Find techniques for healing collective traumas; perhaps through identification with the Prince or Principality of certain portions of the collective then healing the self.
  2. Find ecologically sound ways of living that are both sustainable and worthwhile.
  3. Find new ways of robustly transmitting knowledge and wisdom. Speech and text are at best unreliable.
  4. Understand and map to what degree is possible the divisions between people that define their "worlds". Find important variations to discover the aim of the original.
  5. Transmute the deities of our world into forms that will allow both the human race and these essences themselves to find a greater degree of freedom.
  6. Universal liberation.

One More Thing

A new feature I'm going to implement is the Scratchpad. I'll probably use this to just hash out my thoughts on various topics, so feel free to check it out if you're interested.

Administrative Note

This is the second revision of the Kadmon Wiki. The original version was done in phpWiki and was difficult for anyone but myself to edit. I felt this rather defeated the purpose of having a collaborative tool, so we're starting over with MediaWiki. Hopefully this will provide us with many more options for collaboration and information sharing. Right now, we'll only have 2 editors, but if you are interested I'd be happy to add anyone friendly to our group (Just email me).
